blind unc photos is a project of The Corporate. This policy explains what the app ("the app") and this website do with your data. The short version: the app collects nothing, and the website only keeps what you type into the contact form.

Data the app collects

None. The app has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party SDKs. We do not collect, store or transmit any personal data, usage data or device identifiers.

Your photos

Photos you take are stored only on your device, inside the app's private storage, encrypted with a key that is kept in your device's Keychain and never leaves the device. Photos are excluded from iCloud and iTunes backups. They are never uploaded anywhere. When you share a photo, it goes only to the app or person you choose through the iOS share sheet. If you delete the app, all photos are deleted with it.

Camera

The app uses the camera solely to take photos when you press the button. The camera image is never shown on screen, never recorded and never sent anywhere.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, the app schedules a local notification on your device to tell you when a photo can be viewed. No notification server is involved.

Internet access

To make sure the six-hour waiting time cannot be bypassed by changing the device clock, the app occasionally asks a public website (such as apple.com) for the current time. This request contains no personal data and no information about you or your photos. It is the only network request the app makes.

Contact form on this website

If you use the contact form, we store the topic, your message and, only if you enter it, your e-mail address, together with the time of sending and a technical identifier of your connection used to prevent abuse. We use this solely to answer you and to improve the app, and we delete it once your question has been handled. The data is stored with Cloudflare, our hosting provider, and is not shared with anyone else.

Children

The app is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with an updated date.
