blind unc photos
A camera with no viewfinder. Shoot blind, see it in 6 hours.
How it works
- You don't see what you're shooting. Point your phone, press the button and let it count down from 3.
- Everyone nearby sees the screen and the flash blink, so nothing happens in secret.
- Every photo stays locked for six hours. Then it appears in your album.
- 24 photos a day, like a roll of film. Deleting photos does not give you extra shots.
- Four looks baked in at capture: Normal, '90s, '80s and '60s.
- Photos stay on your phone, encrypted inside the app. Share them only when you want to.
Frequently asked questions
Why can't I see my photo?
Every photo unlocks six hours after you take it. The Photos tab shows a countdown per photo.
The photo says "Go online".
After your phone restarts, the app needs an internet connection once to check the time before it can unlock photos. Connect to Wi-Fi or mobile data and open the app again.
Can I turn off the countdown blink?
No. The blinking screen and flash make sure people around you can see a photo is being taken.
Where are my photos stored?
Only on your phone, encrypted inside the app. They are not in your photo library, not in backups and not online. If you delete the app, the photos are gone, so share the ones you want to keep.
I used all 24 photos.
The counter resets at midnight.
Does the app collect any data?
No. No accounts, no analytics, no tracking. See the privacy policy.
